Pre-Primary

Pre-Primary is the first compulsory year of schooling in Western Australia, with children attending school five days a week. This important year provides the foundation for future learning, supporting each child's academic, social, emotional and physical development.

Our teaching is guided by the Western Australian Curriculum, the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0) and the National Quality Standard (NQS). Educators work collaboratively to deliver a balanced program that combines explicit and intentional teaching with rich, play-based learning experiences.

Students continue to develop strong literacy and numeracy foundations as they begin to read, write and use mathematical concepts to make sense of the world around them. They are encouraged to explore, problem-solve, make choices and develop independence while building confidence as learners.

For the safety and wellbeing of all children, Pre-Primary students must be accompanied to and collected from school by a parent or nominated adult each day.
